Shame Legacy Will Be Passing Judgement On Us All This May

Shame Legacy

A new announcement for Shame Legacy is here and we get to see another bit of horror in our world when Shame Legacy launches

More cultists are moving about in the video games space with the latest announcement we have for Shame Legacy. This is the next big title to come out of Fairyship Games and Destructive Creations for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Well, next that is getting the announcement and then fast-release turnaround treatment. Given that this is the first time many are hearing about Shame Legacy and that it will be hitting all of those platforms on May 30th now. Quite a fast turnaround for the gamers out there, even if it has most likely been in the works for a few years up to now from the powers that be.

In Shame Legacy, we will be playing the role of someone who wakes up confused in what is supposed to be an anger management convention in the 19th-century. Sadly, and how this all usually goes, this is not what it seems and we are now being hunted down by a cult and need to live on in our own way. All through a similar gameplay style that we have seen in other horror walking simulation games in the past. Also with the puzzles and cult stuff that we should have come to expect in titles like Shame Legacy. You can get a slight glimpse at what is coming at us this May just below. It definitely looks like it could be another of the sleeper hits many others have been in the past.

Shame Legacy — Announcement

In Shame Legacy, you attempt to survive the chase of enraged cultists using stealth and escape mechanics. Meanwhile, an eerie danger looms over…

Waking up confused in a 19th-century equivalent of an anger management convention, you quickly realize that: 1. A hunt is taking place, 2. You’re the prey they’re after. The legacy of your family seems to have caught up to you, but maybe not in the way you’d expect. Apparently, an inheritance doesn’t always mean fancy yachts.

If you hope to get to the bottom of it all, you’ve got to move silently and avoid contact. The villagers are all over the place, looking for you. And they’re damn fast if they see or hear you… Your mental ability will come in handy when solving puzzles. So will your cane, which also serves as your defense weapon to fend off attacking villagers.

Getting detected isn’t the end of the world if you’re fast enough and can keep your nerves in check. Having just woken up, the village doctor would have some harsh things to say about your health status and stress resistance. If you find yourself close to the edge, there’s always relief to be found. Disclaimer: this isn’t a drug commercial.

Shame Legacy will be hitting the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on May 30th, 2023.

Will Shame Legacy be another good walking simulator in the mix or will it fall prey to the oversaturation the genre has had in recent years? Do you think this one will always lead to a happy ending or could we see things go darker in the mix than we have had in the past with it all? Would you like to see our character be able to take the hunt to the hunters or will it only work well if we are always the prey? Take all of those thoughts down to the comment section and let the discussion flow out there. I know we will see more for Shame Legacy, so please keep checking in for all of that and everything else that we have to offer up along the way to you all.
