Sir Dan Is Back, Again, As We Have A New Update On MediEvil

MediEvil

A new trailer for MediEvil is here and we finally get to see how the game has been remade since MediEvil first hit the PS1 twenty years ago

It is possible to have missed the fact that MediEvil was getting a full remake as it was announced back in 2017 during that year’s PSX and originally claimed to be here by 2018. Obviously, as we did not get a date for it this year, it is not coming this year to the PS4. That is okay though as I would rather Other Ocean Interactive to take their time and make a great addition into the MediEvil franchise. I guess that is why we now have to wait until 2019 as it was just let loose here with the latest trailer for the game. Yes, you read that. We have a new trailer to look at for the game.

Before when it was announced, this MediEvil title was slated as a remaster of the original game. It is not the case, which probably explains the extra time needed, but will be a complete remake of the original PS1 version of the game. Much like we have seen with a lot of the other big franchises we loved and remember from back then. I am perfectly fine with this as MediEvil was one of those franchises I always wished had more titles but seemed to be thrown to the side for a while. Based on what we have here now, it looks like it will all be worth the wait. Have a look at the new trailer and see how the game has been remade.

MediEvil — Announce Trailer

Completely remade from the grave up!

MediEvil follows the story of Sir Dan, an unlikely champion who met an unfortunate end on the field of battle. He receives a chance at redemption when his nemesis, the evil sorcerer Lord Zarok, accidentally resurrects him 100 years after that fateful day. Lord Zarok seeks to conquer the Kingdom of Gallowmere, and only the skeletal Sir Dan stands between Zarok’s army of the undead and the kingdom he swore to protect.

What do you think of this new MediEvil game that we have coming in 2019 now? Does it look like it has been handled with care or will it just be another grab for the nostalgia with little more to add to the overall franchise? Could this bring the whole franchise back into the light for us all or will it be a one and done experience? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. When there is more to share for MediEvil, we will for certain share it. Just be sure to keep checking back in here to see and hear it all.
