Spider-Man: Miles Morales
The launch of Spider-Man: Miles Morales is this week and we have a chance to see more of how Miles Morales will be stepping up
This is going to be a huge week in the world of video games for many reasons and one of them being the launch of Spider-Man: Miles Morales. One could also argue the PS5 launching this week too, but for this game, it will be on the PS4 too. All of which on November 12th for those that have forgotten that little bit. Also for those that forgot that Miles Morales is coming this week, we have a new trailer with a whole lot of story and a whole lot of gameplay mixed in. Even if it does err on the side of more cinematic aspects than anything here. That will be your first warning for any kind of spoilers you are trying to avoid here.
In this new trailer we get to see a few more of the villains in Spider-Man: Miles Morales that we will face, as well as many that we will see coming back somehow. My guess is that they are let out due to someone’s bigger plans for Roxxon and the various other things out there. The interesting one here is the look we have at Prowler in the game here and how it kind of looks like we might be able to play as the character. That is how it is all shot here, but there does not look to be like we will be playing as anyone other than Miles Morales in this one. We only have a few more days to truly find out and finish skirting spoilers out there. Have a look if you do not care about going in blind.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales — Launch Trailer
It’s finally here! Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales launches on PS5 and PS4 worldwide on Thursday, November 12! From all of us at Insomniac, we’re so excited for you to finally get your hands on the game this week. We’re celebrating with you, and excited to play alongside you whether on your brand-new PS5 console or trusty PS4 or PS4 Pro.
The launch trailer gives you one last look at Miles’s new home in East Harlem, and the threats that he will face as he rises to the challenge of becoming a Spider-Man. You may notice your first look at some characters we haven’t shown in motion yet.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is releasing for both PS4 and PS5. We know not all of you will be upgrading to PS5 console at the same time, so it was critical to us to offer an upgrade path from the PS4 console to the PS5 console at no extra cost. This way you can feel confident playing the game on PS4 this week (which is gorgeous and plays beautifully!), knowing your game can come with you if you decide to purchase a PS5 console.
Upgrades for disc copies of the PS4 version of the game are only available if you have a PlayStation 5 console with Ultra HD Blu-Ray disc drive. To obtain your upgrade, you will need to insert your PS4 Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales game disc into your PlayStation 5 console with Ultra HD Blu-Ray disc drive, navigate to the Game Hub and select the upgrade offer to download a digital version of the PS5 version of the game, which you can then play while your PS4 disc is in the drive.
