Spider-Man’s First DLC Has New Details & Suits Incoming

The first DLC for Spider-Man is almost here and now we have some new details as well as a look at Spider-Man’s new suits that are coming

We are a week out from the first DLC for Spider-Man on the PS4 and it looks like we finally have a bit more on what will be coming with it. As we have all know so far, it will be surrounding Black Cat in more of a way than she was in the core game but now we know it is all part of a bigger story. One that spans not only this DLC but also the other two that are slated by Insomniac Games to hit Spider-Man in the coming months. How? I guess we will need to play and pay for them all so we can have the new challenges and story to play and hopefully enjoy. I am sure we are all excited for it all here soon.

This new DLC will also bring along some new challenges for Spider-Man, a new faction to take on in the city, new trophies to unlock, and three more suits to swing around with. One of them, the Resilient Suit, being one crafted for the game from one of the comic’s illustrators. The other two being the Scarlet Spider II and the Spider-UK suits. None of them have been listed to have new powers or abilities with them, but it should seem like that is another thing we should just look forward to Spider-Man in the future. Or, maybe, they do not have any and will just offer up a few new ways for Spidey to look in the game and when the New Game+ finally hits the game.

As you play Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist, you’ll encounter the beginning of a new, interconnected story taking place over the three chapters of Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps. A robbery at an art museum entangles Spider-Man and MJ with an old flame from Peter Parker’s past, Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat. Beyond new story missions, there’s a whole new faction of enemies, new crimes, new challenges, new trophies, and of course, three brand new suits.

Here’s a first look at the three new suits. One we’d love to highlight is the Resilient Suit, by famed Marvel illustrator Gabriele Dell’Otto. We loved bringing original suits to the game, starting with our Advanced Suit, and continuing with Adi Granov’s Velocity Suit, and this is another great one. Additionally, we have two more suits that fans of the comics will recognize, Spider-Man’s suit from Scarlet Spider II, and the Spider-UK suit from the Spider-Verse.
