Split Fiction
There is now another way to get a friend to play Split Fiction with you just in case you have had issues finding a friend to play Split Fiction
I know I have made the joke many times about how some out there might not be able to play Split Fiction due to a lack of friends. It is a game, like the others that Hazelight Studios has made, that will require there to be two players in the game. Not specifically in a way to force two people to always buy the game with EA offering up the friend’s pass for it all at no extra cost on March 6th when the game lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. That is nice, but it does not solve the issue that humans are terrible at communication or actually making any real connection in the modern day. Something that does kind of make Split Fiction unplayable if you cannot find a friend. That is where this new joke edition of the game comes in, with the Friend Edition.
No, this is not a real version of the game that can be bought, as it would either have Split Fiction dipping into unethical cloning or dark slave labor. The joke being that this edition comes with a human friend so you can play the game when it launches. That would solve some of the issues plaguing the current state of humanity, but it is not legal or fiscally sound. All of this is to point us all to the Discord channel for Split Fiction so we can try to make a connection with a faceless screen name so we can actually play the game. Again, something that cannot be done in a single-player setting at all if you cannot find anyone willing or decent enough out there to play the game with. As a gameplay concept, it is cool, but in practice with the human race, well, that’s another story. We just now have another option to try to make those failed connections in the world.

Are you struggling to find anyone to play Split Fiction with you or are you one of the few who actually have a real friend out there? Do you think this should have been framed a different way to announce their Discord channel or was it the level of dumb humor that the studio heads are known for? Why will there never be just a single-player option in these games for those who struggle to find any true connection out there but still want to have the distraction from the darkness of reality? Go ahead and share what thoughts you might have on this down in the comment section and discuss it if you want. If we have anything more for Split Fiction to share, we will try to share it all here for you. Just keep on checking back in for all of those updates and any of the others that we find the time to share with the world. If you care at all, that is.
