The Steam Machine Breakdown As We Know It

Here is a break down of all of the currently announced vendors for the Steam Machine. With pictures.

As promised last week, here is a full break down of the Steam Machine models that were on display at CES this year. It even includes the late comer who wasn’t originally mentioned in any of the promotional items that were being handed out or show on the show floor. Yea, so how do you like them apples?

Now that is out of the way. To be completely honest I am still not completely sold on the whole Steam Machine thing yet. Even with some of the prices being comparable to the ‘next gen’ consoles right now I am still not sure on the input device that has been implemented, as I spoke on before. Yes they will open up a whole new avenue for me to play my Steam titles, but with some of the costs the same as a high end gaming rig why not just spring the extra bucks for the cables to run the monitor in my living room and keep my rig in the office? Maybe this is why I am not a hardcore PC gamer yet. I just can’t afford to pay for the best and don’t want to sully the experience I guess. But I digress.

Anyways, here you go. The full list with specifications and images. Enjoy and know we will update as more information comes flowing in.
