Street Fighter V
A new trailer for Street Fighter V has made its way out and shows off all of the launch modes that will be included in Street Fighter V once the game goes live
If you thought that Street Fighter V was going to be some basic fighting game where there was only one way to play over and over then you were mostly wrong. I say mostly as it looks like Capcom has released another new trailer for Street Fighter V that shows off all of the different modes of gameplay that will be coming when the game launches on February 16th for the PC and PS4. The mostly kicks in when you see that all of them are the same match system in Street Fighter V only with different outcomes and scores at the end.
In the following trailer you will see six different Street Fighter V modes labeled but they all boil down to a one on one fight with another character in the game. Some AI and others real humans. Of course you have Tutorial Mode and Training Mode that are exactly what they sound like here only that the first teaches you the basics of Street Fighter V in the shoes of young Ryu. The latter allows you to square off with any character you have to hone and test your skills. Also there is an option to set up the spacing for combos from the looks of it so you can finally pull of some cool moves you most likely never will in Street Fighter V proper.
The other four modes shown off are Story, Survival, Network, and Combat Fighter Network. Story mode for Street Fighter V should be pretty straight forward as well as Network. Survival on the other hand is more or less a tower challenge where you can set your own bonuses and negatives before a match and then earn points as you fight enemy after enemy. CFN doesn’t look to be more than an option Capcom gives you to stalk you opponents online in Street Fighter V and see if they are slipping up in their skills or becoming the next fighting game god. Still it all boils down to Training, Story, and Online no matter how you label each game mode.
