If you have been waiting to get all of the answers you have wanted for Lies Of P up to know, then you are slightly in luck. The developers over at Round8 Studio have gone out there now to put a few things down and explain why we are getting what we are with the game. Not to mention a few other behind-the-scenes things for Lies Of P as we all wait for it to finally hit the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A timeline that is still murky, but we do get some of the things answered here. Even if it might just lead to you having further questions that only the full release of the game will truly be able to answer. Yes, this is all just as convoluted as we are making it here.
What things boil down to here in the new video for Lies Of P is the same basics we normally get when it comes to games. This one was made because the team likes making Souls-like titles. They enjoyed the source material. The same stuff that gets said in all of these. Even if we do get to see how and why the team took their own takes on some characters and pushed them forward instead of using the base descriptions. Just as any good artist really should be doing out there in general. You can see it all before and build a little more hype up for Lies Of P to drop out there. Now we just have to wait until the team feels it is in the right place so we can see if all of these choices we for the best.

Lies Of P tells the story of Pinocchio as never seen before. As Pinocchio, players will wind their way through the streets of a ruined city, crafting weapons from the materials found in the world and interacting with the remaining few who manage to survive in this hellscape. The more lies told, the more human players become, with all the advantages and disadvantages it entails. Lies Of P features profound narrative choices and deeply customizable character progression to round out its RPG features.
Lies Of P has been built from the ground up using Unreal Engine 4 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
