Succubus
New gameplay for Succubus is out there after the team put on a developer stream to further show off how dark Succubus is going
The gameplay keeps flowing out there for Succubus with all of the over-the-top gore and violence we expect from the universe that Madmind Studio has put together. It does look like they are not shying away from the AO rating on the game again, although this new bit can be seen as a bit tamer than we have had in the past. It is still some crazy hellish things to see, so get ready for it, and all the horrible things that the Succubus is going to do to the poor souls down in Hell. I guess there is also a look at how some of the melee and ranged combat works too, if you want to look over all of the other stuff mentioned here.
Sadly, this new footage we have for Succubus does raise a few concerns for me here with the AI in the game. It is unclear as to if it is based on what ability is being used here or if the AI just has the enemies line up for her to cut right through. I would like to think it is some kind of skill but the rest of the combat does not make it seem like they are free to roam as we get in many other titles out there. Succubus is not coming out of a AAA studio, sure, but everything from before was showing that they had it down to make it all feel a bit more dynamic. I guess we will see here soon if not in the prologue that is already out there.
Succubus — Fury Teaser Gameplay
The main character of the game is Vydija, a wild and lustful Succubus demon. The players were able to learn a part of her story in the original Agony and Agony Unrated, where she received her own single-player campaign.
With the disappearance of the legitimate rulers of Hell, the remaining demons recognized Nimrod as their ruler, because he was the only soul who could dominate the mind of the mighty Beast. By raising his new empire from the corpses of sinners, the new king, along with his new queen Vydija, managed to control the chaos left by the former rulers.
The new title didn’t fit the Succubus. The life of luxury and walking on rugs sewn from the skins of martyrs was not for her though, and so she has chosen a life in the wilderness of Hell.
During her travels, the new queen meets the powerful Baphomet who, together with his army, is going to get the soul of Nimrod. Captured, maimed and betrayed by her own species, Vydija is left with only one goal that matters – revenge!
