The award-winning Sunset Overdrive is making the leap to a new platform, as PC gamers will now be able to play Sunset Overdrive on their rigs
If you think back to a bit ago you may remember a little title called Sunset Overdrive releasing and smashing down on the Xbox One. This was another fun little title from Insomniac Games that was over-the-top and all kinds of high-impact fun. Maybe you remember it or maybe you do not. It was limited to one platform at the time. That is kind of why we are here though as it looks like Sunset Overdrive is now making the hop over to the Windows PC side of things real soon. How soon? How about November 16th? As in tomorrow as of this posting. Yea. I thought you might like that.
It is official after a few leaks by retailers, Sunset Overdrive is coming to the PC and bringing with it all of its DLC that was released. Not in anything that sounds like a remaster kind of way, but something that will work outside of the Xbox One architecture. It seems like a weird step in the wrong direction given how games normally release, but it is a new option to play Sunset Overdrive so we cannot be too upset. I would not hold out hope for it to hit the PS4 any time soon given who holds the rights, just know it will be in the mix here with all of those other titles right now. Maybe not the best time to surprise release it.
