System Shock
The System Shock remake is almost here and we can have one more look at the Citadel coming in System Shock
Here we go with a new look at System Shock just before it launches out there on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this May 30th. Just another week and it will be here for us all to experience. This is why we have another fun update from Nightdive Studios to show off the game and how they have remade the full game from the ground again. This time, we get to roll on in to the Citadel in System Shock as we get taunted by SHODAN in the horror that is too. Al with the same voice from before and with a bit more of the realism to it all as we should expect in this day and age out there.
While it would have been nice to get a fully photorealistic version of System Shock out there, the team is small and doing what they can do here. Take that into account before you try to compare this one to the many other remakes out there from the bigger studios. It still looks like an amazing and fun time with some new controls to keep things feeling fresh for this version of System Shock. Although, in some spots it is hard to tell when we are seeing full upgrades and when we are seeing some of the throwbacks to the classic version. No matter the case, have a look at the latest trailer for the game and see what is on the way to us all next week.
System Shock — Return To Citadel
System Shock is the faithful remake of the ground-breaking classic from 1994, combining modernized gameplay with all-new HD visuals, updated controls, an overhauled interface, and original sounds & music; and once again featuring Terri Brosius, the original voice actor of SHODAN, one of gaming’s most iconic villains. Play now to be part of the rebirth of one of the greatest and most influential games ever created.
How are you feeling about System Shock after all of what we have had to share thus far? Do you like that it is keeping closer to the original style or did you want something to the levels of the Dead Space remake out there? How different will some of the controls be in the game and will they all truly improve the overall experience for those looking for the classic? Feel free to discuss all of that and everything else down in the comment section here. If we have more to offer up for System Shock, we will share it all here to keep your eyes and ears full of all of the gaming out there.
