Tactical Shooter, Valorant, Is Heading Our Way This Summer

Valorant

The upcoming title, Valorant, from Riot Games shows off a bit of its gameplay to get us ready to join the Early Access for Valorant

It looks like Riot Games‘ upcoming title is gearing up for us all, as Valorant is heading to an Early Access this Summer for those looking to get in on the developer’s next PC title. This one is a character-based tactical shooter that looks to have a few “magical” elements mixed in. At least, that is based on the new alpha gameplay footage we have here for Valorant to show off how rounds can play out and just what some of these characters could have ready for us. It does all sound a bit like a few other titles out there to me, but I guess we will see how it will all stand out from the rest.

All in all, Valorant looks to play a bit as Counter Strike does with a bit of look and feel of Overwatch. To me, that is how it looks. Sure, this is not the final product and things will evolve over time. It is just how it looks for now. More so, when we do not have any of the finer character details laid out and no explanation to what the weird red and green walls are that pop up here. They could be placeholders for Valorant at this time. We will only get to find out here in the near future it would seem.

Valorant — Gameplay

Valorant is Riot Games’ upcoming 5v5 character-based tactical shooter. This alpha gameplay footage was captured from an internal developer playtest — pardon the video quality, we hope you appreciate the gameplay. If you like what you see (or hear), come play in Summer 2020.

What do you think about Valorant based on this little bit of gameplay we have here? Do you agree that it looks like it could be a clone of a few other titles we have had recently? How vast do you think the characters will be in the game? Let us know down in the comments. If there is more to share for Valorant, it will be up on the site for you. Be sure to keep coming back to see any of those updates in the near future.
