The 00 Programme is back in 007 First Light, with a new look at the story & characters coming to #007FirstLight
With each new update for 007 First Light, it feels like the story is getting further expanded and showing off that it is more than just a reskin of the title that IO Interactive has brought us all many times before. Even if the team has stated they used a lot of that IP to help shape this one, it is truly starting to feel like it’s taking shape and standing on its own, away from Hitman. Even if the DNA of both feels as if they work well with each other. Just that 007 First Light will have a story that’s been built up for decades at this point in different media and with different actors. Which is part of what we have to look at as the story opens up to the start of the 00 Programme again, and we are getting more faces and voices in the mix to bring it all to life. #EarnTheNumber

A new look at 007 First Light out of CES is here to show us just how NVIDIA will be pushing #007FirstLight forward
Fresh off the recent delay of 007 First Light, it looks like we have a lot more driving its way out to us for the game during #CES. Not anything unusual, since the gadgets and vehicles in the IP get highlighted during the show, but here we go with a look at how IO Interactive is teaming up with NVIDIA to help give the #PC version of the game a bit of a push before the new May 27th release date. Something that will help 007 First Light stand out further than the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #Switch2 versions of the game. That is the way of it all when it comes to this hardware. Let’s embrace it and see just how this one is going to be turning more heads during the show and during the live gameplay when it launches. #CES2026

007 First Light has been hit with a delay, and we will have to wait a few months longer to experience the fun of #007FirstLight
Just when we thought we were all on a high for video games, we are no hit with the news that 007 First Light is going to be delayed a bit now. Yeah, it is a little bit of a shock given how much IO Interactive has put out there for the game up to now, but it is going to need to miss that original release date. All with this new delay pushing 007 First Light back two more months for the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, #Switch2, and #PC releases. Those looking for the new date, well, that is now May 27th, 2026. It will be right before the usual Summer break time, so there is that for those who have a schedule that works around those timelines. The rest of us, we just have to do without for a few extra months. #EarnTheNumber

It is time to continue the journey as we try to #EarnTheNumber in 007 First Light. The main goal that we keep having out there for the game, but also the core idea behind some of the things that IO Interactive is placing in the game. Which is why we are back to go behind-the-scenes with the team to see how the game is being made. Not only that, but some of the specific choices they made for 007 First Light and how some of their past IPs have helped to build upon the winning formula to make sure this is going to be a game for casual and hardcore fans of the 007 IP so far. Our agents are only as good as their gadgets out there, and that is even more the case when it comes to James Bond in 007 First Light. We’ve seen the watch that he’s made iconic over the decades, and now, IO Interactive is offering up a look at the next bit of gear that the character has been known for over the years when it comes to the films. That would be the car that James gets to drive around. Even if it does sound like it will happen after he #EarnTheNumber in 007 First Light. Something that is surely going to need to be a thing with the Aston Martin Valhalla being that car once the game lands out there on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC on March 27th, 2026.

007 First Light wouldn’t be a solid game in the IP if we did not get a lot of fun little gadgets to play around with in the game. That should be a given. This is, of course, something that IO Interactive is well aware of too, so now we are starting to see some of them flow out there. Starting with one that I am sure our 007 will be using a lot of as we make our way through the game. Even if in the films it is not always the most prominent of gear. It is a watch, after all, and it does a whole lot in such a compact space. Now, let’s see what it will do in the game just before the March 27th, 2026, release on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, #Switch2, and #PC. #EarnTheNumber

It is time to meet 007’s Tactical Simulations overseer, who will be putting us through some paces in #007FirstLight
Given that we are still in the early years as Bond still needs to #EarnTheNumber in 007 First Light, it is not shocking that we are going to have some new faces in the mix of things. Not just with how James looks, but so IO Interactive can build out more of the world and give us newer things to do than just head out on missions. In this instance, we are getting to meet Dr. Selina Tan, played by Gemma Chan, who will be tasked with making sure our 007 is up to snuff. Something that is still a bit in the shadows as we meet the character, but should be fully built out by March 27th, 2026, when we can take on the role and see just how Mr. Bond makes it to the level we have seen him at over the last few decades. I am sure there is also a bit of upgrading that goes along in the mix, just to ensure the gameplay is in there as well. #PS5 #XboxSeriesX #PC
