It didn’t seem like it was truly going to happen when the film adaptation for The Mortuary Assistant was announced a while back. It felt as if it would work well as a film, but it was announced and then not much else was heard or seen from it. Now, we jump forward a bit, and we see that not only is The Mortuary Assistant coming to life for the big screen. It is coming to life on February 13th, and the first trailer is out to get excited over. Especially since it looks as if the team has done an amazing job of bringing the game to life, and mixed in all of the little things that made us scream in terror when we experienced it the first time. Poppy Playtime Is Moving The Prototype To A Release Very Soon

The release of chapter 5 for Poppy Playtime now has a release date, with another look at the Prototype that we’ll face in #PoppyPlaytime

The prototype phase for Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 is coming to an end for the #PC, as we now have a release date set for the next chapter. Not just the game in its prototype phase, but also the fact that Mob Entertainment is gearing up to show us The Prototype in the game when it does come to us all. Granter, we all are expected to have been following along with all of the chapters for Poppy Playtime up to now. There’s still time, though, if you need to catch up, since this new chapter will be dropping on the PC this February 18th. The PS4, #PS5, Xbox One, #XboxSeriesX|S, Switch, and #Switch2 gamers will have a few more months to get up to speed, with that release planned further down the line. For now, let’s have a look at this new Prototype we’ll be running from.

The stealth-based horror on the PS4 and #PS5 is getting another title in the mix today, January 8th, with Cakey’s Twisted Bakery finally launching on these consoles. Fresh off the releases, where TinyMindz got the game on the Xbox One and #XboxSeriesX|S after a while on the #PC. A fun little staggering of the game’s release, but that’s okay. Given that Cakey’s Twisted Bakery is on the indie side of it all, it makes sense that we have a staggering like this. Not to mention that it has to compete with many other horror games like it that have been released. All of that to say, if you need a new horror title to play on the PlayStation, you have one to drop onto your system now.

 

Dead By Daylight Keeps The Darkness Of Stranger Things Alive A Bit Longer

Things are getting turned upside-down here in #DbD with the second chapter of #StrangerThings officially out there in the game. We just couldn’t let the IP die, and this is a good one to have in the game, so I guess it makes sense that Behaviour is getting this out to us. Even if it feels a little weird to have it after the main show of Stranger Things has come to a close. That’s neither here nor there, though, as it does bring us more to play in Dead By Daylight on the PS4, #PS5, Xbox One, #XboxSeriesX|S, #Switch, and #PC. Even if it feels a little vague based on the video, we have to go along with this new crossover launch.

 

Merlin’s Arrival Has Been Foretold Next Year In Ravenswatch

The second character DLC for Ravenswatch is on the way, with Merlin bringing more magic to the world of #Ravenswatch

A bit of extra magic is on the way to us in January of 2026, with new character DLC coming for Ravenswatch. Actually, the second character #DLC that Passtech Games has worked out for us since Nacon brought the game to the PS4, #PS5, Xbox One, #XboxSeriesX|S, #Switch, and #PC. So, it is a bit fitting that Merlin would be the character that Ravenswatch will be added in. The one we all think of, more or less, when it comes to legendary magical characters, when most IPs out there will use the name when they need a master. A master that we will soon have the chance to control in this fantasy world that we’ve been playing through for months now. A solid way to kick things off for the game in the new year.

Again, we get to expand our titles on the PS4 and #PS5 without needing to make any extra purchases at our local stores. Stranger Things Are On The Way With Another Chapter To Dead By Daylight

Another crossover for Dead By Daylight and Stranger Things is here, with some new horrors in the mix of #DeadByDaylight

There is certainly one thing that #DbD does well, and that is crossover events that build into a massive thing in some way. In this instance, it looks like Behaviour is digging deep into the ending of #StrangerThings just as the show comes to an end, while also offering up some new horrors into the game. At least, on January 6th when this whole things pops off and you will be able to see the gang again in Dead By Daylight. As long as you have been playing the game on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, or PC. You know, all of the platforms so we can have fun and celebrate the ending of an iconic show out there.
