The list of free video games hitting the PlayStation systems in January has been released, and there are some great #videogames included in the mix
A new month is almost upon us here with January, and that means new video games that we are going to get for free. Well, video games that you will get for free if you are part of the #PlayStation Plus service. If you are, then you may be in for a treat as the list of titles going live starting next month is here, and we have it for you. Again, we get to expand our titles on the PS4 and #PS5 without needing to make any extra purchases at our local stores. Let us have a look at what will be coming as part of the lowest tier of the service that gamers out there can pick up.

The nun simulation game, INDIKA, now has a physical edition out there to offer more to the story of #INDIKA
A nice little way to end the year out there, if you have been waiting for a physical version of INDIKA to land out there for the #Switch. That offering is now out there so even more can see what Odd Meter and 11 Bit Studios brought to us all just a short while ago. The game is still out there in all forms for the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC, but now the Switch gamers can have their shot. Even if the premise of INDIKA does sound a little bit out there for many. In this age of gaming, though, it does also weirdly fit right in. Let’s dig into that for those who need to have a good reason to grab this one in a physical form, or just in general, if they have not as of yet.

Styx has gone missing in 2025, but we have a new release date for #Styx: Blades Of Greed in 2026
Those paying close attention to Styx: #BladesOfGreed might have thought that the game was set to stealth release in the next few days. Given that Nacon and Cyanide Studios had it slated for a 2025 release on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. Well, it looks like that is going to be missed, and we did not have something sneak out there. Styx: Blades Of Greed is still coming, only now it has a different release date. One that is actually defined better than a general year of release. All of that is to say that the game is going to be launching on February 19th, 2026. Not too long of a wait, and also not like anything was missed since this is the first fully defined one out there.

New gameplay for DreadOut 3 is out there, so we can see just where this title will take the whole #DreadOut IP
The journey carries onward here, with a new look at #DreadOut3 and the path that Linda will be going down in the game. Along with a bit of new gameplay that Digital Happiness had to show off in a recent outing for the game. This time, with DreadOut 3 going into more of the balancing of light and darkness in the world that it has built. All in a way to get us amped up for the release of the game on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. When that release will be, well, I think it is safe to say not 2025 currently, and with no set date as of yet. Either way, we have some fun things to look at, so let us all get excited to dive into the world that has come at us three times now.

Another crossover for Dead By Daylight and Stranger Things is here, with some new horrors in the mix of #DeadByDaylight
There is certainly one thing that #DbD does well, and that is crossover events that build into a massive thing in some way. In this instance, it looks like Behaviour is digging deep into the ending of #StrangerThings just as the show comes to an end, while also offering up some new horrors into the game. At least, on January 6th when this whole things pops off and you will be able to see the gang again in Dead By Daylight. As long as you have been playing the game on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, or PC. You know, all of the platforms so we can have fun and celebrate the ending of an iconic show out there.

The release for Taxi Chaos 2 is here, and we have some gameplay to get more excited to experience #TaxiChaos2
It feels like it has been forever since I played a good arcade taxi driving game, but it looks like that is about to change with #TaxiChaos 2. Partially as Focuspoint Studios and Current Games have been able to wrap up development on the game, and it is currently out there for the #XboxSeriesX|S, #Switch2, and #PC. All with the #PS5 and Epic Game Store getting to see Taxi Chaos 2 driving on in on January 13th. A little bit of a gap, but still something to get excited for if you fell in love with games like these in the arcades. For those who might not have much familiarity with the style of game, let’s hop into some of the new gameplay that is out there for us to enjoy. If you have not already picked this one up over the holidays.
