It feels like with each new video we get for Directive 8020, we get to know more about the characters and the world. Even before Supermassive Games had to delay the release of it until May 12th. Given that it might have been a while since we first met Brianna Young, the pilot of the spaceship we will be surviving in, it might be time to get to know the character again. Who better to give us all of that information than the person who is bringing the character to life in Directive 8020? That person being Lashana Lynch, who is offering not only the voice, but the likeness and motion capture of this cinematic horror title about to land on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. Well, it is #Halloween, which means we are getting all of the spooky game updates today, and here we go with another that will not be launching until 2026 with Directive 8020. A title that we should have been able to play by now, originally, but Supermassive Games needed more time to perfect it for the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. Not a terrible thing, and maybe it will give us all some fun extras in the mix to enjoy. Extras and some improved visuals for Directive 8020 if you have a system that can run things at top-tier. Which is what we have here to show off for the holiday and give you all a nice little treat. Let us see just how the game will run when all the RTX features are turned on, and just how optimized the team has the game thus far.

Even though we are not getting Directive 8020 for #Halloween as originally planned, it does look as if we are getting something to take in for the game during the season and to keep us all going until 2026 when it is slated to hit the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. Not that Supermassive Games wasn’t already busy dropping out other titles for us during the season already, but that is a different topic. For now, we will have a look at the fun little tease that we have for Directive 8020, with some exclusive gameplay out there just in time to add some Sci-Fi horror into the season. We are still getting something, even if it is only a very small slice to clue us in on how the game will function when not just selecting dialog options to keep everyone alive.
