Tekken 8
More of the classic Tekken characters is coming in for the fight again in Tekken 8 with Jun Kazama
The next fighter for Tekken 8 is on the way here to us all with Jun Kazama coming back into the mix to bring a mother’s love to the fight. That sounds a bit odd to have here, but it is something that Bandai Namco is looking to do for the next title. The roster keeps growing for this Tekken title and it will only keep growing as we head toward 2024 for the release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Even if some of us are still looking for something truly new to join into the mix. Although, Jun does give us something other than just hard and fast hitting for the characters now.
The twist we see here for Jun in Tekken 8 is that she is technically fighting by healing the opponents. That is not obviously happening since you still see the health bars going down in the match here, but it is the theme that Jun is bringing. Not to mention the aftercare Jun offers up after winning and that her finisher seems to be more nurturing and healing than everyone else in the Tekken space. Have a look at Jun in action just a bit lower down and get ready to see how the fights will evolve more. Now we just have to keep holding out hope for anything fully new to hit the IP with this release which is still a good chunk of time away.
