The Alters
A delay is now here for The Alters and we are going to need to wait until 2025 to see the full version of The Alters
Those looking to live as various different versions of the same person in The Alters, are going to be in for a bit of bad news here. It looks like the wait is going to be a bit longer, as 11 Bit Studios has opted to push the full release of the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC out just a bit further. How much further? Well, that is a tricky one as The Alters never truly had a solid release date before now beyond this year. Now, it looks like those interested in the title are going to have to wait until Q1 of 2025 to be able to tackle all of those crazy “Ifs” out there. Sad news, I am sure.
The reasons for this new delay for The Alters is a bit obfuscated in a social media post that was made via the game’s official accounts. As it seems, the demo that was placed out there for the game did what it was supposed to do and gave fans a taste for the game. It seems that the feedback given was not fully up to par with what they were hoping for and need more time to “polish” the game a bit further. Most like, to fix some of the faults gamers found in the demo for The Alters along with some of the feedback given to help make it the best version of itself that it can be. That is how it all reads to me and you can see what was stated just a bit lower down. It is a fun way to get the information out there, but for those who have been waiting for this title, it would have been nice to get it in a direct manner too.
We regret to inform you that, after thorough review, your upcoming mission in search of Rapidium has been postponed from [REDACTED] to Q1 2025.
While we understand this delay may not be the news you were expecting, rest assured that we are using this extended time to optimize all mission-critical systems and ensure that every aspect of your journey is as seamless as possible.
We would also like to recognize that Project Dolly, based on its initial Demo phase, has already exceeded expectations and the preliminary results demonstrated a high potential for a successful mission. However, at Ally Corp, “good” is never enough. This additional time will allow us to polish each phase of the project, delivering results that surpass our prior projections—an outcome that benefits both Ally Corp and, naturally, yourself.
Thank you for your patience and ongoing commitment to Ally Corp’s mission. Your contribution to Project Dolly remains invaluable, and we look forward to your successful deployment in the near future.
Best regards,
Ally Corp Communications

The Alters — What If?
Were you hoping to be playing The Alters before the end of the year or does it matter as there was not a solid release date set before now? Was the demo so poorly received that it made the team freak out or did they just have fans find things that the QA team was not able to spot in this small slice of the game? How far into Q1 will it be before we finally get to see the full version of this game released into the world? Take those thoughts and leave them all down in the comment section before starting the fun discussion around it all. I am sure there will be more to come for The Alters, so please keep on checking back in for all of those updates and then many others we still have to come down the line for it all.
