Hitman
The beta for Hitman is on its way so that those who pre-ordered Hitman can help shape the game before launch as well as get a look at other hidden gems
The title here kind of says a good portion as the Hitman beta is coming to the PS4 and PC early next year. How early? Well as Io Interactive revealed during this year’s PSX those who pre-ordered Hitman on the PS4 will be gaining access to said beta on February 12th. Those who pre-ordered Hitman on the PC will be seeing it on February 19th. Sadly there is no word on said beta coming to the Xbox One but I am guessing that just means Sony offered up more to Square Enix to get something “exclusive” for the console here.
The Hitman beta itself will house a unique mission that takes place twenty years in the past when Agent 47 was first recruited into the ICA. Something some fans of the Hitman franchise have wanted to see and understand for a while now but also a good place for those new gamers to the franchise to start off with. If they pre-ordered that is. Either way you can get a very small glimpse of what is in store for us all in the Hitman by watching the following trailer to get you all amped up. If anything, March 11th won’t be too far off for those not taking part in the beta here.
Hitman — Beta Teaser
As another little extra bonus for those who pre-order Hitman on the PS4 it looks like there will be another six bonus contracts, The Sarajevo Six, added in for you free of charge. The first three will come at launch and the rest at a later date. All of these contract revolve around former CICADA members who have committed some horrible war crimes and Agent 47 is here to even the balance of fate. These Hitman are listed as a PS4 exclusive for now but I am sure it will only be a matter of time before Io Interactive gets them over to the other platforms for the game.
Are you amped up for the Hitman beta now? Is this going to be something you are going to be waiting on? Do you think that all of the DLC and beta will hit the other platforms missing out on it at some time or did Square Enix get paid well enough to keep them truly exclusive to the PS4 Hitman experience? Let us know what you think in the comments and feel free to discuss away. As we get more on Hitman in any shape or form we will have it here for you so be sure to keep locked into the site for more updates as they come.
