Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodhunt
The Bloodhunt has been called as we have the official announcement for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodhunt to join the Battle Royale genre
The World Of Darkness is spreading out there just a bit more with the latest announcement that Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodhunt is coming and bringing more Vampire fun to PC gamers out there. Not in a way that many have been waiting for in the vein of Bloodlines, but this one is a new Battle Royale game from Sharkmob that will place us in the role of our own Vampire out to survive the night. Not in a way that VTM players might be assuming with the name of Bloodhunt here, but in a way that is slightly close to the Second Inquisition. For those not up on the lore or terminology for the IP, Vampires have been brought out of the shadows and now a religious order is out there hunting them. In the game here, we will have to face off with that and all of the other Vampires using it to their advantage to take each other out. All so we can survive and be the biggest Vampire in Prague when the sun rises again.
That is an insanely boiled-down version of the lore, but for Bloodhunt it works. Given that this is a third-person Battle Royale game and not one that has all of the political scheming and intrigue that the base game is known for. We will be able to customize our characters in this one, as with many other Royale titles, with the normal cosmetics and the clans to better define our playstyle. This will most likely help define the supernatural powers we will also have in Bloodhunt as we expand and try to take out all others in the mix. We are competing with our enemies and a full group of vampire hunters out there, so we will need to make sure we are ready. Have a look at the announcement and early gameplay just below. There is also a closed Alpha test poised to start up on July 2nd for those looking to give it all an early go and get a better feel for what it is all about.

Was this the kind of game you were expecting from something called Bloodhunt here, if you are a longtime player of VTM? Do you think that we will get to see the full array of clans in the mix or will it be the ones better suited for this style of brawl out there? Do you think we could see a different mode come from this where it is less of a Battle Royale and a vast hunt in the city for the one who caused all of the chaos? Give us all of those thoughts down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. When there is more to share for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodhunt, we will have it all here.
