The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is getting its next-gen update and will be adding some interesting things to The Witcher series
After a long wait, with a little more still to go, we are getting the full next-gen update out there for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. An update that will bring the game up to date on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, while giving those on PC a few more bells and whistles to enjoy in the game. Not that CD Projekt RED did not already give us so much to enjoy already in The Witcher 3, but it looks like there is more. On December 14th, we will get the upgrade visuals and performance to be had on these systems. Also a Photo Mode and much more. All for the low, low price of free. As long as take the time to download and give the space to install it all.
In addition to the extra visual and performance updates here for The Witcher 3, it looks like there will also be some new content in the mix of it all too. Specifically announced for the next-gen systems, but it would be weird if the prior generation misses out completely. Given that it is some new content inspired by the run of The Witcher on Netflix too. There are no specifics given on what and if it will be more than just something cosmetic to enjoy in the game, but we are getting it. I know there would be many out there that would enjoy having that 3D-scanned version of Henry Cavill in the game to replay some specific scenes, but we will have to wait and see. It will break the internet as soon as it is out there, for sure.
