The Last Guardian
It looks like The Last Guardian has been hit with delays again but we’ve been given another release date for The Last Guardian not too far off
We haven’t covered The Last Guardian much here on the site so it does seem a bit weird that we are here to give you just bad news. Or is it? None the less it looks like genDESIGN and Japan Studios have done just that yet again. It looks like you won’t be getting The Last Guardian on your PS4 this October anymore as the promise is lost yet again and we have to wait until December 6th for the game to finally comes. That is the new date given to us to try and soften the blow of the delay yet again. Will it ever release?
Just as with almost every other video game delay out there, The Last Guardian is being given the excuse of needing “more polish” to make the final vision what we all get and not some half-assed game. Pretty much the same thing different game and date. Now we just have to wait and see if it can hold up to all of the hype it has been getting for some reason while launching alongside other great titles. That hasn’t panned out well for other games just like this but maybe it will be different here. I just don’t get the hype and now the delay…

An Update on The Last Guardian
The Last Guardian development team is fast approaching major milestones in production and has made the tough decision to delay the release of The Last Guardian a few weeks. The Last Guardian will launch on December 6, 2016.
Fumito Ueda, genDESIGN and Japan Studio have a wonderful vision for The Last Guardian’s touching, emotional journey of friendship and trust, and we want to deliver the most polished experience possible for our fans who have supported us for so long. A delay is a difficult decision, particularly with this game, but we have encountered more bugs than anticipated while in the final stages of development. To ensure that The Last Guardian delivers on the experience that the game’s creators have envisioned, we need to take the extra time to work on those issues.
Our development continues to push itself to the fullest and we look forward to revealing new content toward launch.
