The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum
The release date for The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum is set with Gollum joining our systems again in the no-too-distant future
We still do not have much to look at for The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum nor many new details out there for the game, but we have a release date now. Even if many of us have not seen how this game will function in practice as of yet, Daedalic Entertainment has set us all up with a date that we can expect to be playing the game on our PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It is still heavily thought that Gollum will function as other stealth games from over the years but we will certainly know on September 1st when it is poised to have a full release. That seems rather quick for something we have only been teased with so far.
Since it was first announced, we have seen about five minutes of anything for Gollum with most of it being cinematic footage and nothing of true gameplay to experience. It has been assumed that we would see quite a bit of Styx style of gameplay here as we sneak through the various location in Middle-Earth to help Gollum find what he is looking for. This would most likely be the precious ring that we have heard about so many times over. If it is not, then I would question why the sneaking is going to be so hard if he could put it on and just vanish from sight completely. That would make for a rather dull game and lackluster walking simulation game. Then again, some do argue that The Lord Of The Rings is just one long walking adventure in the first place…
Gollum’s quest for his precious will begin on September 1, 2022!

Are you ready to see what Gollum has to offer up and not just when it launches in September? Do you think that we will see many of the same gameplay mechanics from the lesser-known stealth game or could it offer up something truly different? What parts of the IP do you think the game will ignore to make for a better play experience and which will it keep in to enhance it all? Give us all of your thoughts down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all if you so wish. When we have anything more for The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum, know that we will share it all here for you. Please keep checking back in for all of that and much more as we head into the future.
