The Outer Worlds Is Blasting Onto The Switch In March

The Outer Worlds

The Outer Worlds, the award-winning RPG from Obsidian, is hopping onto the Switch for more players to take The Outer Worlds on the move

It should have been a given that it was going to happen, The Outer Worlds is heading over to the Switch here in March. Just as any other big titles out there that do well on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC it will make its way over. Obsidian Entertainment may have had this planned from the start of it all, but it usually happens after the game does well on the other platforms first now. Nonetheless, The Outer Worlds will be coming to the Switch to take on the go on March 6th if you have held out or just want another reason to throw down $59.99 USD on the game.

So now that we know that The Outer Worlds is heading to the Switch, how will you be able to buy it? In the traditional ways with no extra bells and whistles for now. The digital version can be picked up on the eShop, as you should have figured. There is a physical box version of it all, but it only holds a digital code for The Outer Worlds and no card or anything else. It seems like a huge waste to do it that way on both sides of the coin there. I guess they would not waste the time and money on it if there were not some of you out there that would buy it in that form. Just know your options.

Obsidian Entertainment, Virtuos Games, and Private Division today revealed that the award-winning and darkly humorous single-player RPG The Outer Worlds is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 6.

Whether you choose to zap foes with your shrink ray or charm them with smooth-talking abilities, The Outer Worlds lets you play the way you want and be the galactic hero (or villain) of your dreams. And on the Nintendo Switch, now you’ll be able to take The Outer Worlds anywhere you go.

The Outer Worlds for Nintendo Switch will retail for $59.99 and will be available as a boxed version (containing a code to download the game) and digital version via the Nintendo eShop.

Did you figure it was only a matter of time before The Outer Worlds jumped onto the Switch or did you think it was going to skip the system? Are you curious as to why there is a physical version coming when it will be the same as the digital but with a box to clutter up with? Do you think we might see some cool extras added in before it hits or will it be just the version we all have right now? Let us have those thoughts and opinions down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. If there is more for The Outer Worlds, we will share it all here. Be sure to keep checking it all out.
