Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2

A new update for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is here out of E3 to let us know how the next Hellblade is shaping up

Another title that felt like it was missing in all of the big to do around this year’s digital E3 was Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2. Given all of the Xbox Series X titles that were getting pumped out there, it felt a little off that Ninja Theory did not have much to offer up. That was until a bit after the fact where we were able to get a small update on how Hellblade 2 is shaping up. Even if it is still in an insanely early form of it all, we are going to be getting updates as we saw with the last title to let us know just how things are going. Especially given how all of those other outlets like to say that the game could be troubled when a slice is rejected or being worked on. If you can remember back to all of that in the original development for a game that ended up taking things by storm when it did launch.

Before you get too excited for something new for Hellblade 2, I am going to have to burst your bubble a little bit. There are a few little things mixed in here but this is more of the studio letting us know the level of work they are putting into all of this and a little about what to expect when it does finally come out there. Given that they have some of the motion capture actors in real fighting training and some of the other new features Unreal is offering up, it could be another smash hit to it all. Especially with the same caliber of actors coming back from Hellblade again. Something we did know was going to happen, but we have some visual confirmation here in addition to it all. Have a look and let the waiting continue for the next big bit of gameplay they might have to offer up.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 — A Saga In The Making

Here’s an update on the development of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, the next chapter in Senua’s journey.

All game footage is a work in progress and not final.

Are you still excited for this Hellblade to drop on us all or will you need more than the cinematics and design promises to keep you going? Do you think we need to see over-the-top combat in a game like this or will it lend to all of the other themes in a better way if they go that way? Do you think we will see the same blending of real and virtual imagery in the final game or was that just something they needed back when they were still on the smaller side of things? Let us all know down in the comments what you are thinking and then feel free to discuss it all as you so wish. We will keep sharing all that we can for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 as it is out there. Just be sure to stick close to the site to see and hear it all.
