Hitman
The first Elusive Target for Hitman is coming tomorrow and there are a new set of rule in Hitman to handle these extra hard targets to hit
After a long wait it looks like we are getting the last bit of the puzzle for Hitman to experience. No this doesn’t mean that we are getting the entire game that Io Interactive is working on in one update now instead of the “episodes.” What we are getting is a taste of the last extra feature that Hitman has to offer in its current form. Starting on May 13th we will see our first Elusive Target pop up and be waiting for us to hunt down and kill. Happy day.
If you are out of the loop on things here Elusive Targets were another free update that Hitman is slated to get where we get specific new targets that only hang around for a short time. They are supposed to be a lot trickier to kill and once they leave town it is for good. Kind of like a very specific basic Contract that the people over at Io and Square Enix have cooked up and not just some randomness from other players. If you’ve played the game so far that should make perfect sense.
Before now there wasn’t much in terms of the extra difficulties added on besides the time limit here for Elusive Targets. Now that we are on the verge of seeing them in action in Hitman it looks like the extra bits are flying. Besides being hard to find as they don’t come up in Instinct or on the Mini Map, you only get one chance to kill them during the time limit. The first time limit is 48 hours of real time. If you die or miss your chance the target is gone forever. What this means in terms of gameplay and “showing off” I am not sure but that is a pretty crazy limitation here.
- An Elusive Target is a once in a lifetime experience
- They are available for a limited time only in game – this first Elusive Target will last 48 hours
- Intel on the target will be limited
- They will not appear in instinct mode, or the mini map and their locations will not be revealed to you – you’ll have to go and find them
- Plan accordingly before you engage your target
- Your target can only die once
- If you die during the mission, that’s it
- When the time runs out, they are gone for good
- If you fail, there are no second chances
