Batman: The Telltale Series
A new episode of Batman: Unmasked has debuted and in it, like always, is a new teaser for Batman: The Telltale Series next and final episode of season one
Next week we are going to see how the amazing first season of Batman: The Telltale Series is going to end. December 13th for those who still don’t know the exact day. It all comes to an end and we see what Telltale Games has been building to over the amazing first season of the game. Thankfully we don’t have to wait too long as we now have a new teaser for the episode right out of the most recent episode of Batman: Unmasked. That would be the web show that discusses the last episode of the game and also digs into some of the fun parts of getting into making the game. Hopefully you are up to speed on it all by now as it is forced into the game proper as an extra.
What we have here though is a new little teaser for the episode to see just where things may have progressed in Batman: The Telltale Series here. Of course, spoilers for those who are not caught up to episode four of the season. What we do have here is something that looks to be completely divergent from a good portion of my gameplay experience so far and I am excited to replay it all. Mainly it looks like the backlash from the last major choice we had to make has been mixed in with another from earlier in the series. Both of which were not my choices and still have not been forced on me by the game. Harvey still has his face is the big one. Things are branching out rather well that a second play is now needed.
Batman: The Telltale Series — City Of Light
Episode 5: ‘City of Light,’ the season finale of Batman: The Telltale Series, premieres December 13 and it will be available worldwide starting on PC, Xbox One, 360, PlayStation 4, PS3, and compatible iOS & Android devices.
If that wasn’t enough for you, then we have the full episode of Batman: Unmasked here for you to look at and enjoy. The teaser from above is near the end of it all as usual but in this episode we get to see and hear how the voice actors and writers approached both Batman and the Joker in the series so far. There are also a few nods toward things going into a second season but I’m guessing that Telltale Games is going to wait on the final sale numbers before the green-light that project. Not that I have any doubt that it won’t happen. Batman: The Telltale Series has been top notch with only a few minor issues in my book and I have some hard standards to meet with episodic style games.
Batman: The Telltale Series — Episode 5
In the newest entry of our ‘Batman: Unmasked’ discussion series, host Greg Miller of Kinda Funny sits down to chat with Troy Baker (Bruce Wayne), Henry Gilroy (writer, Batman: The Animated Series), and Mark Drostey (director, Episode 4 of Batman: The Telltale Series) about all things Caped Crusader. And look out for a special appearance by Anthony Ingruber (John Doe)!
Are you ready for the last episode of this Batman story to play out or will you be playing it fresh from the start now that you can binge the whole season? How drastic do you think all of these branches truly are, outside of physical appearances of characters? Do you think that there will be a high chance of a new season of the game coming to us once this has ended? Let us know what you are thinking and then discuss in the comments below. As more on Batman: The Telltale Series is revealed or shown, we will have it here. Be sure to stay locked into the site here so you can keep up to date on all of it.
