It Is Time To Get Eminence: Xander’s Tales Up And Running

Eminence: Xander's Tales

The Kickstarter campaign for Eminence: Xander’s Tales is up and running with the game being much more than just Triple Triad

It’s been a couple months since we first spoke on Eminence: Xander’s Tales. This is that Triple Triad mobile title coming from Aeterna Studios and by mobile I’m talking iOS with Android down the line. Well it looks like the Kickstarter page for this is now up and running with the hopes of moving Eminence: Xander’s Tales to PC and consoles. I’m guessing PS3 and Xbox 360 but that is all stretch goals for now.

So what more have we learned about Eminence: Xander’s Tales now that the project is in full swing? Well this is more of a RPG/MMO like title that uses the Triple Triad game mechanics to battle and push forward the story of the game. There will be four factions, with others planned as stretch goals, to play with and risk your cards in the epic collectible card battles. Winners of course taking up to five cards from the loser to stack there deck a bit more in their favor of trouncing all opponents.

Don’t take just my word for it. Here is the Kickstarter video for Eminence: Xander’s Tales.

While I am not a huge fan of mobile games, and I kind of wish Android was slated for support out the gate without stretch goals, I am still looking forward to Eminence: Xander’s Tales. Like I said months ago, I loved the Triple Triad card game from FF8 and I am personally excited to see how Eminence: Xander’s Tales expands on those core mechanics. The information from the video is nice and all but how does it change the strategies that will be needed? We won’t know until we are hunting down our enemies and trying to snag real world player’s cards.

If you want to help get Eminence: Xander’s Tales funded then you can go to their Kickstarter campaign here and hope that it is fully funded. It still has quite a bit of time to go as it just started but as of this writing they are almost 10% toward being funded. I would be personally happy if it hit its first stretch goal at a minimum so I will be able to fully experience Eminence: Xander’s Tales on day one but hey just getting the basics funded is prize enough.
