Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster
It may not be anything new but we have the intro cinematic for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster. Well for Final Fantasy X HD Remaster at least.
With Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster landing next week (3/18/14) on the PS3 it is time to get all nostalgic for the game that came out in 2001. Final Fantasy X to be a bit more specific here as below we have the intro cinematic for the game with all of the new ads for the HD collection. Just to make sure that some of you younger readers know this is a full CGI trailer that is pretty much the exact same that came out in 2001 and not something new for Final Fantasy X due to updates. Given that though, it is still damn impressive and one of my favorite intros to a game in general.
This is probably one of the best pieces of marketing for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster as it did exactly what they wanted with a HD update; it captured the nostalgia in my brain and makes me want to replay the game. This was one of the first times in the Final Fantasy universe where we were not met with fantasy style of music to bring us into the game. Instead we are given a lovely metal song and some hardcore action for a sport game that many have wished Square Enix would make into a full title. Who doesn’t still want a Blitzball title? Be honest.
To make this short and sweet I give you the opening cinematic for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster now for you to enjoy. I am sure fans of the franchise will be washed over with nostalgia. I am also sure that those who have yet to play Final Fantasy X will have their interests piqued as well. Enjoy.
