Time To Wake Up Is Ticking Closer With A New Release Date To Set Down

Time To Wake Up

The release date for Time To Wake Up is now set, with a few more releases on the way for Time To Wake Up

It feels as if we all blinked and we are on the verge of seeing Time To Wake Up released out there into the world. Not only with the new release date that Eye Blink Twice has set for the game, but also that it will be hitting more than just the PC out there. In fact, it’s going to be hitting the PC and PS5 on October 12th for those looking to experience the weird adventure on those platforms. In addition to that release date for Time To Wake Up, we’re also going to see the game launching on the Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2 down the line. The latter release dates have still yet to be figured out, but that’s quite a few more platforms that the game will be hitting than we originally thought out there.

Given how long it feels like it has been since we had anything for Time To Wake Up, here’s a little bit of a recap of what the game is going to be all about. First off, this is a new psychological thriller title that will place us into the mind of someone dealing with some past trauma from their days back in school. That’s where we’ll find ourselves as we walk about the world and relive some of those memories. Thankfully, that’s not going to be the only thing we do in the game. There’s going to be some puzzles, other characters, and things for us to explore in Time To Wake Up, but the bigger gameplay mechanic will be that we can change the setting by having our character blink. This will happen, the world will change as needed, and then we’ll be able to continue with the story or solve the puzzle at hand. Not groundbreaking, but it still looks and sounds like a whole lot of fun. Fun that we’ll now have in only a few weeks. Just don’t blink and miss it.

Time To Wake Up — Release Date

Time To Wake Up will be available on Steam and PS5 on October 12, 2026. It is also coming to Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch soon after.

Time To Wake Up is a first-person psychological thriller in which you find yourself stuck in a dream one night. No worries, though. You are not alone.

You hear a voice that is fond of your eyes. Willing to help you out, you both set out to uncover what happened back in school. Will you blink your way out, or will you succumb to the shadows of your past?

Key Features:

  • Blinking Is Thinking – Your eyes are the key out of this maze of memories. Blink and change your surroundings, switch and reset moving elements, flood whole rooms, or turn them around.
  • Surreal Madness – Alan’s obsession with this book translates into an environment that won’t allow you to leave. Do you think you can manage?
  • Traverse Your Memories – Time To Wake Up takes you through surreal school environments. Imagine dim-lit libraries, perplexing playgrounds, toilets with twists and turns, and more.
  • You’re Not Alone – In this dream, you hear a voice that will not only help you remember what happened, but also actively open doors for you (yes, also literally).
  • Avoid Your Classmates – Nothing good comes out of their staring presence piercing through your eyes. Blink and make sure not to cross paths.
