Batman: Arkham Knight
The last bit of DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight’s season pass is out today and we have more information on how it will expand Arkham Knight and the story
Here we go with more good and bad news for Batman: Arkham Knight. The bad news would be that there will not be any more DLC for those season pass holders as of today. The good news is that Rocksteady Games is going out with a huge bang with that by bringing us the Season Of Infamy DLC for Arkham Knight that aims to snip off a few loose ends still running around Gotham City after the events of the entire franchise to date. Hopefully you guessed that this means that it is available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC right now for us all to enjoy over the Holiday weekend. So pretty good news to go along with the bad here.
The Season Of Infamy DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight houses four of our favorite super villains from the franchise’s past to fill in more of the game’s world. We have Mr. Freeze, Killer Croc, Ra’s Al Ghul, and The Mad Hatter still at large and before we can fully hang up the cowl in Arkham Knight Batman needs to track down and apprehend each from whatever villainous plot they may have sparked up. Each of course with their own full on story bits to make this more than just a few more themed challenge maps for the game. We all love us some story DLC especially when they deviate from the norm we have set.
As one could surmise, when it comes to Mr. Freeze he has returned for In From The Cold to still try and save Nora’s life. We also get to see where Batman and his relationship has evolved to in Batman: Arkham Knight. Ra’s Al Ghul looks to have been thrown in the Lazarus Pits again and looking to control the League again in Shadow War. Killer Croc has gone through further mutation and is looking more monster than ever in Beneath The Surface and I am sure we will find out exactly what he’s been up to since last we squared off. Then you have Wonderland which will hopefully be another insane run through a twisted hallucination caused by the Mad Hatter.
Batman: Arkham Knight — Season Of Infamy
This DLC also offers up a bit more for Batman: Arkham Knight than just these story missions. It will also house a new Batman skin based on the 2008 film. It will also have two Batmobile skins here with one based on the car from the Arkham Asylum vehicle and the other being a Rocksteady Games themed skin for the Batmobile. Got to have more style when roaming the streets of Batman: Arkham Knight. Lastly it will also have the Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #5 to give us all more challenges to fight in within the game. A nice hefty update to go out on here for Arkham Knight indeed.
How excited are you to get to wrap up these other stories in Batman: Arkham Knight? What other villains would you have rather seen show back up in this DLC or did Rocksteady Games hit the nail on the head for you? What other loose ends do you think may still be out there when all is said and done for Batman: Arkham Knight? Let us know and discuss away in the comments below. If there are any further updates on Arkham Knight from Warner Bros. we will have the right here for you so be sure to keep your eyes glued to the site so you can keep completely up to date.
