Traverse More Of The Underground With New Darksiders III Gameplay

Darksiders III

Another eleven minutes of Darksiders III gameplay has been released to take us further into the underground of the world Darksiders will be exploring

The week started off with a great announcement that Darksiders III is coming at us on November 27th and it will have some other extremely cool collector’s edition to come along with it. Not a bad way to start the week with Gunfire Games and such. Now we have made it a bit further in and we are back with even more gameplay for Darksiders III to take in and dissect for anything else just as amazing to know for the game. It looks like THQ Nordic knows how to get us all going and then keep us at an all-time high as we wait the coming months and such for the game to finally release. Not shabby at all…

All of that said, here we go with another eleven-minutes of gameplay for Darksiders III with some of it looking a bit familiar to some in the past. My guess is that it is all part of the same level or area that Sloth is in as we are back in the subways and underground of the long-lost world. We do not get to see the boss again in this gameplay, but given the insect theme and color scheme we have seen before, I would say it is a safe bet that this is where it is all going down. You can have a look and see if you agree or disagree, but I am sure you will see things the way I do.

Darksiders III — 11 Minutes Of Gameplay

Return to an apocalyptic Earth in Darksiders III, a hack-n-slash Action Adventure where players assume the role of FURY in her quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins.

While I am still excited for Darksiders III, this gameplay does leave things a bit “wanting” in my book. It could be just how the player took things on, but it does seem to be a little lackluster and dull for the game. It does look like Gunfire Games is mixing up some of the puzzle systems in Darksiders III as we will still need to throw “bombs” at areas to open things up, but we have to wait for them to charge up and then be thrown. Something that the player here did not seem to know right out of the gate, but should become second nature before the game’s end. At least that is the hope I have.

It is also interesting to see that so far in all of the Darksiders III footage we have yet to see Fury use her firearm in the game. In fact, I do not even see it on her belt while walking around and moving in this demo. We may have yet to see a part of the game were she has it, but it is something that is standing out to me as we only have the melee combat to view in general. There is only so much time until release and I know I would like to see her firearm and mount in action at some point. For now, we will all just have to wait…

What is your take on this new footage that we have here for Darksiders III? Do you agree that this looks to be the same arena we have seen before or could it be somewhere else in the game that just happens to have the same beasties? Are you curious on when we will get to see Fury on her mount and using her gun or will that be a nice surprise for the final build of the game? Let us have all of those thoughts and feelings down in the comments and then discuss. For more on Darksiders III as we can find it, be sure to stick close here. We will keep bringing every little bit that we can as soon as we can.
