Underward Will Have Us Teaming Up Here Soon As It Releases

Underward

The release date for Underward is now set with Underward coming in the next week for those looking for it

It is time to start looking for the rest of your team out there with Underward getting its PC release date set now. A date that Intense has pushed off a bit but kept to the world of Early 2025. I know I would say that February 5th is certainly Early 2025 which is when you and three friends will be able to jump into the horrors that Underward will be placing out there. You can also go solo, but in the age of needing multiplayer in all video games, why would anyone go and do a thing like that? Especially as it looks like the more friends you have in the game the easier some of the missions could pan out for the team.

There are probably a few out there who are just now learning about Underward and seeing things flow for the first time here. This is the one to four-player game that places us in another horror facility where we are being tasked with collecting missing and loose bio-capsules filled with various test subjects. All in a procedurally crafted world where the more people we have on the task, the faster it can be completed. Given that permadeath is a thing in Underward and some of those tests are loose in the world too, that is going to make hitting that quota of reclamation a little harder to do. All the more reason to keep the collection going and pick up various other items to help us all along in the game “matches.” A killer good time from the looks of it all, and you can see just how it is all functioning just a little lower down the page.

Danger – Danger!

The procedurally generated abandoned underground hospital is filled with lurking dangers, including a roaming and formidable Arachne Nurse monster, an enemy so big that with its towering body it’s capable of blocking entire hallways, sets itself apart from the others. Its limbs are fortified with salvaged debris, making it resistant to frontal attacks. To defeat this monster, players will need to coordinate strategies to flank and strike from behind. and deadly traps. Use the various items you find during your exploration, work together with your team (or leave them behind when necessary), and push forward into the depths.

Amazing Feature List Includes:

  • 1–4 Player Cooperative Horror Exploration: Team up with friends or venture alone.
  • Proximity Voice Chat: Communicate with teammates using in-game distance-based voice chat.
  • Procedurally Generated Labyrinths: Explore dynamic, maze-like areas with surprising twists.

Are you going to be taking up the task of Underward next week or will you wait to see what all of your friends are saying about it before that? Is there a good reason to have permadeath in a game like this or will that only show up as we dig further into the various collections? How many variations of the facility will we see in the mix and will it ever feel like we are going through the same motions in any map? Wander on down to the comment section to discuss all of this and everything else that have for the game. If there is anything more to share for Underward, we will certainly do that here for you. Please keep on checking back in for all of that and everything else that we have to offer up for the community in general.
