Mass Effect: Andromeda

A few more videos for Mass Effect: Andromeda have released to show us the worlds we’ll explore in Mass Effect: Andromeda and some of the characters helping us along

One of the bigger things we will be doing in Mass Effect: Andromeda is exploring new worlds to find a suitable home for us to grow and flourish on. At least that is what the videos and descriptions we’ve been getting have been pointing to. More so now that we have another taste of the game from BioWare that directs us all to look at six new planets for us to explore and colonize in Mass Effect: Andromeda. Although this is all through the marketing campaign for now, it looks like this is still going to be a big deal and we’ll get to pick and choose where and how we try to interact with said planets.

As you will see below in the most recent briefing for this Mass Effect title, there are six “golden worlds” that should be able to sustain all of the life we want to bring to the planet. Each of them having almost very drastic climates and environments to survive and search upon. Of course, the first one that it looks like we’ll be going to is the more tropical paradise planet, why wouldn’t it be, but my guess is that it wouldn’t be as hospitable as the video makes it sound. There would be no reason to have the others from Desert landscapes to base mountain ranges if this was going to be the best choice in Mass Effect: Andromeda. Just a thought for now.

Mass Effect: Andromeda — Golden Worlds

Welcome to the Andromeda Initiative’s Golden Worlds briefing. Discover the types of planets Pathfinder’s seek for humanity’s next home. Completion of this briefing contributes to all recruits unlocking exclusive equipment for use in the field.

To get from planet to planet we will need to use the good old Nexus to surf through space. Thankfully, we have another nice new walk-through of the space station of sorts in Mass Effect: Andromeda that shows off the many different areas and capabilities for gameplay as well as side events that go on in the game’s world. Seeing as there are even random slam-poetry events in the “tavern” of the Nexus, I’d venture that BioWare also wants us to spend a good chunk of time exploring the ship and learning all of the new characters and races we’ll get to see in this part of the Mass Effect universe. Just a hunch but I could be wrong.

Mass Effect: Andromeda — A Tour Of The Nexus

We take you through a quick look at the Nexus and the people you’ll meet there while playing Mass Effect: Andromeda.

If you didn’t get enough of said characters in the above breakdown for Mass Effect: Andromeda‘s Nexus, then we have one more little sample here for you. While it hasn’t been a hug secret that Kumail Nanjiani will be playing the role of Jarun Tann in the game, there has yet to be much on the specific character to work with. Of course, that is until now as we have a nice little description and showing of the character in action for Andromeda as well as why to be a little weary of the character as his motivations seem to be helpful but ultimately only for him. Seems fitting that the comedian would be the one to have the shady reasons and goals.

Mass Effect: Andromeda — Kumail Nanjiani As Jarun Tann

We sat down with Kumail Nanjiani to hear what it’s like voicing Andromeda’s salarian politician, Jarun Tann. Beneath Tann’s high-handed commands, his insecurity becomes clear.

Doesn’t all of this make you more excited to finally get to explore the universe of Mass Effect: Andromeda? Do you agree that we will most likely not end up on the Tropical paradise in the game or is this just the suggestion for the video and we will truly have free reign once we spin the disc up? Do you think you will enjoy all of the characters regardless of voice actors or will that make all the difference for them with BioWare‘s writing mixed in? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. For more on Mass Effect: Andromeda as we get it, be sure to check in here for it. The game launches on March 21st so not much longer to wait to see how it all pans out.
