Wander About In Some New Gameplay For Alan Wake Remastered

Alan Wake Remastered

New gameplay for the upcoming Alan Wake Remastered gives us a feel on how the early parts of Alan Wake will feel with the remaster

We are upon the release of Alan Wake Remastered on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC once more, which means it is time to have some of those opening minutes spoiled for us. Well, more or less spoiled if you were one of the few that has yet to experience this amazing IP from Remedy Entertainment. Alan Wake did come out eleven years ago and was a game-changer back then and we can expect it to be now. We just get to ruin some of the opening for you all so you can see how it has evolved since the first release to where we are now. Yes, we have new gameplay to show off why it will be fully worth looking into again. Beyond being able to play it on the platform of your choice now.

Just as we would all assume, the core of Alan Wake is still here and the biggest changes we can see here are the new 4K visuals and everything that goes into all of that. It is early on in the game and mostly the introduction to all that we will experience but it does look like it has been given the proper overhaul thus far. I do not suspect that much of the core game will be altered beyond the new visuals, but this is Alan Wake and I would not be overly surprised if the developers went a little more meta with the game once more. Thankfully, we only have to wait until October 5th to fully find out if that is the case. No matter what, enjoy the next seven minutes of your viewing day with this new gameplay out there.

Alan Wake Remastered — 7 Minutes Gameplay

Take a look at seven minutes of gameplay from the early portion of Alan Wake Remastered, the 4K glow-up of the 2010 Xbox 360 classic that will be released for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and PC on October 5.

Did you expect much to change for Alan Wake with this new version or is it going about as expected? Do you think this will help with the shadow and light play that the game was well known for or will it get lost in the horror of it all? Do you think we will have something hidden in here that was not in the original game or will it just be the same with the new graphics and platforms only? Tell us what is on your mind down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. We will share what we can for Alan Wake Remastered, so please keep checking back in for all of that. Maybe we will even be able to play the game live with you and see all the other new elements that are here for us to spot along the way.
