Do You Want To See What Was Shown Off For The Phantom Pain At E3?

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Early on the 19th of June, Konami and Hideo Kojima showed off the closed doors demo for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Good news for all of you who didn’t want to take the time to read through my Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain impressions from E3. It looks like Konami and Kojima wanted to cater to all of you who don’t have the time to read through some heartfelt words letting you know what I saw for the game. They have just released the 30+ minute demo that was shown at E3 that many never had a chance to even see. Good news for you but bad for me as my words are falling on blind eyes now. Or deaf ears for those who use text to talk programs.

None the less you can sit through in comfort and watch all the horse pooping, goat Fulton-ing, CQC, and stealth action that entertained us during the show proper. On the plus side, I guess, you no longer need to try and mentally visualize what I was talking about before. You might also get to see a bit more than you thought as there were only so many words I could use to describe the gameplay and action that I saw. Then again, I am harping on those who didn’t want to read through my write up before and forgot about those who will be experiencing the awe of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain with my words floating in their heads still. Pick the battles I guess.

I won’t droll on any longer and let you get to the gameplay demo for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. There really is nothing more to be said on my end unless I wanted to spend the time to learn Japanese to translate everything said before the same guys who showed me the demo go ahead and show you the demo. It is fully worth the time even if you are not excited for The Phantom Pain. This video really does show off the power of the next gen consoles extremely well if nothing more than that.

There is still no solid release date for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain but we can all look forward to it on our PS3s, PS4, Xbox 360s, and/or Xbox Ones. If I had to guess I would say we should be seeing it sometime early 2015 as was the tag line all over E3 this year.
