Wanted: Dead
New third-person action title, Wanted: Dead, is announced with Wanted: Dead taking us down the paths of some familiar titles out there
We have had many slower-paced and FPS titles out there recently, so now it is time to kick back with a new title called Wanted: Dead. Okay, kickback might not be the best thing to do as this is a new fast-paced third-person action title from 110 Industries that looks anything but something to kick back to. Unless you can do so with other titles like Ninja Gaiden or Dead Or Alive. Those would be titles that some of the team have worked on before heading to Wanted: Dead to help put up in the mindset. Although I would say Bayonetta or Devil May Cry will be closer to what this one is looking like. I know I was not able to just kick back with those games as they did suck me in and keep things moving at an insane rate to always be hyper-vigilant.
All of that said, Wanted: Dead is heading to the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC at some point and looks to have gameplay elements from all of the above. All while we play as Lt. Hannah Stone who looks to be brought on for a mission that is a bit of a suicide run and something that cannot be done by the books. This is where all of our cybernetics and other parts will ramp up in Wanted: Dead, as we head out into this version of Hong Kong to dispense justice and limb-severing as we always want to. Maybe that is only a dream for a select few of us here. Nonetheless, it is what we are going to be tasked with in 2022 when the game is set to launch. For now, we can have a look at the teaser we have for the game to get us all amped up and ready to go. Most likely…
Wanted: Dead — Teaser
110 Industries is excited to announce that high-octane third-person action game Wanted: Dead is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Featuring spectacular melee combat and exciting gunplay, Wanted: Dead’s new teaser trailer offers a peek at a dark and dangerous version of sci-fi Hong Kong where you will need sharpened skills to survive.
Players assume the role of Lt. Hannah Stone, leader of the “Zombie Squad”, an elite team who works outside the purview of the traditional police force. Taking inspiration from the likes of Devil May Cry and Bayonetta, a deep combat system will give you the opportunity to take on enemies up-close and personal, or engage with guns from a distance, with cool slow-motion sequences, and a limb-severing mechanic that changes enemy attack patterns adding style and substance to combat encounters.
Among the talented team working on the game’s finessed combat systems are developers that previously worked on Ninja Gaiden and the Dead Or Alive series.
What are you thinking about Wanted: Dead as it all stands here and does it look like it is pulling the correct gameplay elements from the other titles? Do you think that it will be just as violent and clean in the final build or will it stick to what we have here for now? Is this the break you have been hoping for with many of the other games out there or is it one that you might choose to just skip? Tell us all what you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all if you so wish to. We will keep sharing what we can for Wanted: Dead, so be sure to keep checking back in for all of that. I do hope you will not be let down by anything we have to offer up here.
