Crysis Remastered
Crysis is coming to the Switch and we have a look at how the Crysis Remastered will work on one of the lower end consoles soon
Next week, many of us out there will be able to hop back into a beast of a game with Crysis Remastered. July 23rd is when the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch will be seeing this title from Crytek back in the mix of the community. One of the more shocking platforms to see it coming to has to be the Switch, as it does not seem like a system that will be able to run Crysis in general. It was a beast before and it still could be a beast of a title to run. Thankfully, if you were looking to get it on the Switch, we have a new video showing off just how it will look and feel on the system.
As was to be expected, this version of Crysis is not going to look the best with the video hitting 720p at 30fps. Not the best at all, but something the console will be able to hit among the other things coming to it. We will get to see how some of the textures will flow down the pipeline with the vegetation blending and various lighting effects in the game’s world. If you are looking for the best version of Crysis, the Switch may not be the best option, but it does look good enough for the hardware it is going to be on here. For those looking for a high-end quality, you will most likely want to go with the other platforms but this is something for those that only have the one system here.
Crysis Remastered — Nintendo Switch Tech
Crysis Remastered is making its debut on Nintendo Switch with high-quality textures, global illumination (SVOGI), vegetation bending, optimized dynamic light settings, dynamic resolution, gyro aiming, motion blur, bloom (light rays and sunbeams) and much more.
In the video, take a look of what these features look like in Crysis running on Nintendo Switch!
Did you expect to have your mind blown for the Switch version of Crysis or did this line up with what was expected? Do you think some of this could be the video compression of the video or will it truly look like this when we run it live? Will it look better on the Switch screen given the size of it all? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you wish. For more on Crysis Remastered, keep checking in here. We will keep the updates flowing as best as we can for this one and all of the others out there.
