We’ve Hunted Down Some New Assassin’s Creed Rogue Gameplay

Ubisoft has released a new gameplay trailer for Assassin’s Creed Rogue and it looks like Shay has some work cut out for him

We had a few images for Assassin’s Creed Rogue yesterday and now it looks like we have a bit more gameplay to show in video form. Not only has a bit of gameplay but it looks like a bit more of the game’s story has been mixed into the footage as well. Granted it isn’t much more than we already know but one thing it does seem to stress upon is that Shay will be hunted just as he is hunting down the assassin’s in Assassin’s Creed Rogue. This no begs the question of how all of this will play together in the final product and story here.

Are you starting to see why I am more excited for Assassin’s Creed Rogue over Assassin’s Creed Unity? In this little bit of gameplay I feel like I am going to get a stronger story here in Rogue. I’m not trying to discount Unity at all but this feels more like a real try at giving us something new and not the same gameplay and progression that has become stagnant in the Assassin’s Creed franchise so far. Assassin’s Creed Rogue just seems to be offering up more to me. Here we go back into the debate though.

Time will only tell though and we’ll see if Assassin’s Creed Rogue lives up to my expectations on November 11^th. Sure it won’t be on the next gen consoles but it is shaping to give me the experience I want to shell out my money for.
