A Plague Tale: Requiem
More gameplay for A Plague Tale: Requiem is here for us to take in and see how it is pushing the rat technology of A Plague Tale forward
The rats are out in full force once again with some new gameplay that we have for A Plague Tale: Requiem. Not that we expected them to go away at all, but it does look like it is coming at us in a few new ways too. All while Amica tosses out some new combat and stealth motions in the mix too. Asobo Studio knows how to give us all what we want and now it looks like the end of A Plague Tale: Innocence will factor into it all more too. Not just with the characters moving on and growing up, but everything we were able to do by the end of it all could still be intact for us to use with Hugo.
As you will be able to see in the following footage for A Plague Tale: Requiem, it looks like Amicia is going to be more on the attack instead of just hiding. There is going to be quite a bit of that too, but it is interesting to see her take more of an active presence instead of passive. This makes sense with how the characters have grown, but it also does not hurt that Hugo can command the swarms of rats still. It looks like it will be a limited thing that might require a charge up unlike in the previous A Plague Tale, but it would not make for a good game if you could just have the swarms wash over everything all the time instead. Have a gander at the new footage and developer breakdown to go a bit deeper into it all.
