Witness The Rise Of The Vampiric Age In The Terminal Cuts Of The BloodRayne Games

BloodRayne: Terminal Cut

BloodRayne: Terminal Cut and the BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut is out there for us to relive the franchise yet again

Today is the day for all of the PC gamers out there with the launch of the BloodRayne: Terminal Cut games here. This would be the upgraded version of both the main titles here from Terminal Reality to give us all a taste for the games yet again. Both of these are remasters and not remakes before you expect a whole new look here for the games, but it is something here. All of which shows BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut as the one that looks a bit closer to a modern title but still rather impressive to see for some titles that are fairly old and a staple in the subculture here.

You can see a lot of it in motion for the BloodRayne: Terminal Cuts below, but both of these titles will how some native widescreen, 4K abilities, and new environmental effects for us to take in while killing Nazis as the dhampir we have come to love over the years. Everything still looks a bit dated when all is said and done, but for those looking to walk down that nostalgia path for BloodRayne, you will certainly be happy. I just hope that we will see a new one out there after these hit the market and generate new interest and funds for the developers.

BloodRayne: Terminal Cut — Trailer

Enhanced and updated for modern systems by the game’s original developers, this is the definitive edition of BloodRayne.

In the years between the World Wars, Agent BloodRayne works as a killing machine for The Brimstone Society – a top secret fraternity that hunts down and destroys supernatural threats. Two missions, five years apart, turn out to be connected by one man. For years, this man has been searching the world for powerful occult relics to bring about a new age of domination for the Third Reich. In this frenetic and bloody third-person shooter that unleashed the iconic red-headed femme fatale on the world, the dhampir Rayne faces horrific creatures, hordes of soldiers with an array of tools and firepower, and every Nazi officer that stands between her and the one she must stop.

BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut — Trailer

Enhanced and updated for modern systems by the game’s original developers, this is the definitive edition of BloodRayne 2.

BloodRayne is a dhampir, born from the unnatural union of vampire and human. Blessed with the powers of a vampire but cursed with the unquenchable thirst for blood and a weakness to sunlight, Rayne is challenged with her most personal battle yet as she hunts down her siblings. They have banded together and pledged to carry on their father’s legacy of creating a new era of vampire supremacy where humans are mere cattle.

With new acrobatic movements and rail sliding, fast-paced blade and gun combat, fatal finishing moves, more dhampir powers like time control, and an extensive combo system, BloodRayne 2 is a brutally satisfying continuation of the iconic series.

Have you been looking forward to the release of the BloodRayne titles again or is it all something that we should have waited for a new title for? Do you think that this will lead to a new title in the series or just a way to get money to the devs one more time? Do you think it will hold up based on the current level of games out there or will it be a “cult classic” out there? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is more for the BloodRayne franchise, we will update you all here. Just be sure to keep checking back for all of that and more.
