Wolfenstein: The Old Blood
Bethesda has released the PC specs for Wolfenstein: The Old Blood as well as how you can pre-load Machine Games’ upcoming expansion for Wolfenstein: The New Order
With Wolfenstein: The Old Blood out next week it is time to “Get Psyched” and have a look at what you may need to know before the launch on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For some that may be the PC specs for the game so you can make sure you can actually play the standalone expansion/DLC. For others it may be finding out how to get past all of those download wait times so you can dive right into Wolfenstein: The Old Blood as soon as the game is made live. Well lucky for you, Bethesda and Machine Games have released all of that information for you to digest and get ready to dive back into their new world of Wolfenstein. At least new as of New Order that is.
It looks like if you pre-order Wolfenstein: The Old Blood you will be able to pre-load the game well before it goes live on May 5th. Seeing as the whole game is about 40 GB in size it would make sense that you would want to get a jump on this. Wait. 40 GB?!? That would be the size of a full game and not some form of expansion wouldn’t it? Just like Gat Out Of Hell was for Saints Row. Truly impressive as Machine Games has claimed that very little has been re-used from Wolfenstein: The New Order for Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. I guess it could all be game engine mainly but still that is a formidable size that will need to be downloaded.
As for the PC specs for Wolfenstein: The Old Blood you can have a nice look at them below here as well. Nothing too crazy at first glance and seeing as Bethesda and Machine Games want you to be able to enjoy both titles individually I believe if your system cold run Wolfenstein: The New Order then you should have little no issue with Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. I’m not a huge PC gamer so I could be way off but it makes sense to me. Either way you can have a look at the specs in the nice little guide provided just a bit below.
So let’s be honest here; do you think that Wolfenstein: The Old Blood will have more than enough content to justify the extra $20 to experience everything Machine Games has to bring us in this new Wolfenstein world? Do you think that Wolfenstein: The Old Blood will be well worth the time it will take to install and run? Are you going to just leave it alone? Let us know what you think down in the comments here.
