You Will Need To Save All Of The Cats In The Horror Of LAG KILLS

LAG KILLS

New gameplay for LAG KILLS is out there, and it will lead us to many ‘save the cat’ moments in LAG KILLS and real life

As it all comes to LAG KILLS, it looks like we are going to have to do more than just survive the deranged killer in the game. As it all looks now, and as part of the Cat Awareness Feline Sale going on via Steam for various PC titles, we are going to need to save the cat many times over. Both by picking up LAG KILLS as it stands now before the Q4 release of the game, but also as a gameplay mechanic in the game. Yes, it looks like we are not only dealing with a deranged killer in the game, but also one who is hoarding cats. That is at least the vibe I am getting as to why they are in there, but some of the new gameplay coming in the final version does make it feel as if there is something else going on with it all.

In addition to being part of the Cat event going on, LAG KILLS is introducing the fact that we are going to need to save a bunch of cats as we try to survive the house we are trying to rob in the mix of things. Something that might make things a bit difficult in the game, as it is all about staying quiet as the angry gamer hunts us down. Although, if we can make it through a bit and save those cats, we will get to collect them and give them fun little costumes in the game. It also looks as if we might be able to use some of them as our own little cat burglars in LAG KILLS by strapping on cameras to their heads, and then playing as the little felines. Mostly as a way of scouting the area, from the following video, but we will need to also make sure that the gamer does not find them. It looks like things will get a bit grim if that happens.

LAG KILLS — Cat Awareness Feline Sale

Deranged Games and Zemore Indie Games are bringing LAG KILLS to the Cat Awareness Feline Sale, hosted by Devcats and running on Steam from August 7 through August 17. To celebrate, the team has released a brand-new trailer created specifically for the event.

In LAG KILLS, players take on the role of desperate burglars breaking into a house in search of valuables. Unfortunately, the homeowner is still there, and he’s very interested in making sure his unexpected guests don’t leave.

Players will need to search the house, grab whatever they can, stay quiet, and find a way out before they’re caught. And while the homeowner is certainly a problem, there’s another resident that players will need to keep happy: the cat.

Because apparently getting chased by a murderer wasn’t stressful enough.

Key Features:

  • Break In & Loot – Search the house for valuables and take whatever you can carry.
  • Stay Quiet – The homeowner can hear you, so every noise could give away your position.
  • Survive The Hunt – Adapt to an unpredictable enemy determined to stop you from escaping.
  • Don’t Upset The Cat – Keep the feline resident fed if you want to avoid drawing even more unwanted attention.
  • Single-Player & Online Co-Op – Attempt the heist alone or bring a friend along.
  • Every Heist Can Go Wrong – Explore, hide, loot, and improvise as you try to make it out alive.

The new LAG KILLS trailer is available now as part of the Cat Awareness Feline Sale. Players can wishlist the game on Steam and see whether they have what it takes to pull off the perfect burglary. Trailer features, including stealing the cat and dressing it up in hats while it lives in your lobby, and more playtesting, coming soon.

LAG KILLS is planned to release on Steam in Q4 2026.

Will this be a great feature added in for LAG KILLS, or will it just be for the select hardcore cat fans out there in the world? How hard is it going to be to keep the cats happy in the game, and will they all team up to make certain we die if we skip one little meal? Will there be a good reason to put them in costumes, or is that just going to be a feature that only a few gamers out there are going to play around with? Let us have that discussed out in the comment section down below. We are getting closer to the launch of LAG KILLS, so expect that we will have a lot more in the coming months. You will just need to watch the site and all of our social channels to see when the other cats are ready to play in this game.
