Batman Is Evening The Odds In This Gameplay Trailer For Batman: Arkham Knight

Batman: Arkham Knight

A new gameplay trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight has been released showing off a bit of everything in the game. Including a view of the Scarecrow.

Finally we have a bit of gameplay for Batman: Arkham Knight and it does more than just show off Batman kicking ass in the same form we have had throughout the Arkham franchise. We get some new looks at the villains, including Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight. We also get to see how much fun it is going to be wrecking Gotham with the Batmobile. Err…I mean, how much fun it will be to drive around Gotham saving everyone as well as driving on the ceilings of sewer tunnels. That sounds a bit more Batman-like right? Yea? Ok, we’ll go with that for now.

Obviously don’t get too excited just yet as this is most likely only a short look at how Batman: Arkham Knight will play once we get all handsie with it. It is just nice to see who it will look on a high end PC as well as the next gen consoles. I think that is the better thing to take away from this new trailer as the actual game mechanics and in-game play hasn’t been shown. Just the in-game graphics as opposed to the original CG trailer we got when Batman: Arkham Knight was first announced. Outside of the small stint of driving in the sewer tunnels I don’t think any of this is actual controlled gameplay.

If WB and Rocksteady are smart, I’m sure they are, I have a feeling that we will be getting real gameplay footage here in a few week’s time with the fast approaching E3. Either it will be ‘bootlegged’ footage from the show floor or an official gameplay mechanics walkthrough. That is how it all happened last year with Batman: Arkham Origins so it should be safe to make that assumption for Batman: Arkham Knight. Right? Of course it should be.

I’ll quit writing now so you can hop right into the new footage for Batman: Arkham Knight and see how the in-game visuals will look. That is at least extremely pretty. Mix it with the tried and true game mechanics and I am sure this will be the high note to leave the franchise with.
