Evil takes hold in a few days time with The Evil Within. We’ve been seeing a whole lot as of late on how The Evil Within was made and all the inner workings of Shinji Mikami’s brain so now it is time to see the overall world of the game. That and more tips on how to survive all the horrors of The Evil Within when we get it on our PS3s, PS4s, Xbox Ones, Xbox 360s, and/or PCs. Everything is shaping up to look like Tango Gameworks’ and Bethesda’s magnum opus in the survival horror universe.

The Evil Within — The World Within

 

Okay…so no new tips on how to make it through all the horrors in the game world that we haven’t already heard or seen. There is a bit more in the gameplay footage and in-game cut scenes though so there is that to get us all excited for The Evil Within right? Even with all the game footage, interviews, and behind the scenes looks at The Evil Within I know I am still as confused as ever as to what is going on although I have my own theories. This of course is a good thing as we wouldn’t want everything thrown out there and ruin the horror and excitement of the first play through.

As for my theories, I figure I’ll through them out here right now to see if my sleuthing and understanding sync up before The Evil Within launches on October 14^th. My big hunch here is that Sebastian is himself checked into the asylum as a patient from the start. All the horrors he has seen has shattered his mind and he is the one truly behind everything. Be it real world events he is acting out by actually killing people or just all a fucked up dream. The main point here is that it is all Sebastian all the time and he is the true person who has The Evil Within him. Or he has a Psychobreak. I’m calling it now.
