One more Tekken character is back in the mix with Law coming back in for it all in Tekken 8
We should have known it was coming already, but here we go with the official look at Marshall Law fighting his way back into Tekken 8. There was a look in the most recent video for Paul that Bandai Namco tossed out there where Law was fighting Paul. Here we go with the official look at the character as Law makes it back from the various other Tekken titles out there. Law is a bit of a staple when it comes to the IP and it would be a little odd if he did not come back on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC next year when the game launches. Even if there is other oddness going on with the character based on this new reveal.
You can see Law in action just a bit lower, though, it does feel like this might not be the same character we have seen from the past Tekken titles. At least, that is for me. It is not hard to see where all of the inspiration for Law has come from with the obvious Bruce Lee looks and feels. In the past, Law has also been one of the faster characters too. In this new look at the character in Tekken 8, it feels like Law is more of a basic character and is missing all of the speed we have known from before. Given that the character is older in the timeline, it would make sense, but that is the case for all of the classic characters. An odd choice for this character when we already have some slow heavy-hitters in the mix already.
Tekken 8 — Marshall Law Gameplay
It’s time to show you who’s the best.
Come and get it with Law in Tekken 8!
Is it odd to see that Law and many others in Tekken 8 will be on the slower side or will there be some better explanation in the game? Do you think this is to separate the character from the real-world inspiration more or just how the game is being developed here? Who do you think we will see as the next character added into the mix and will we get a new one for the IP instead? Let us all discuss it down in the comments. We will keep adding all that we can for Tekken 8 to the site, so please keep checking back for all of that and much more. There is still a lot of time before the game launches, so there will certainly be a lot more.
