Metro Redux
The release date for Metro Redux has been announced for both the collection and individual titles getting the upscale
We had a possible “leak” yesterday for a title I have been excited for but today we have one for Metro Redux; another major thing of excitement for me. It looks like we are all going to get to enter the Metro again August 26th. Or you’ll be entering the Metro for your first time in a fully upgraded version of both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. Both amazing titles and both going to blow minds on the PS4 and Xbox One. No doubts there.
There is nothing more than just a release date for Metro Redux here but in the interest of space I’ll recap what will be coming if you buy the full collection or each title individually and digitally. You may be one of those people who were curious and have no clue about Metro Redux or the bundled titles for all I know.
Both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light will be coming back with fully enhanced visuals. All enhanced for 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second. This is not just an up-scaling thing either as each have been handled with care to utilize the latest technologies. Also, each have had a few gameplay mechanics and modes added as per fan request. If that isn’t enough, any and all DLC will be included in the Metro Redux collection for all fans, new and old, to enjoy and hammer through again.
Metro Redux may be a HD remake of sorts but it is a much welcomed addition to my game collection. Words cannot express how excited I am to be able to hop back into these two titles on my PS4. All without the use of PlayStation Now or any kind of modding. I have a feeling that these will be the version of the titles that 4A Games, THQ, and Deep Silver would have wanted to make given the technology. I’m not a huge fan of these kinds of gimmicks but for Metro Redux I am sure I will not be disappointed.
