The Season Pass Aims To Expand The World Further For Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora

Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora

The world of Avatar will get even larger next year with the Season Pass for Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora

We had a look at some of the fun features that Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora was going to give some of us when the game lands on December 7th, be we all knew this was not where the game was going to end. This is a title that is coming from Ubisoft, so it makes sense that they have plans to add in so many more things as the game moves forward in its life cycle past launch. Here we go with the showing of the Season Pass that can be picked up for the game, now or after launch, and it looks like there will be quite a bit more of the Avatar world added next year. As long as you are willing to spend just a little more for the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. That is the usual rub here.

This new Season Pass for Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora will offer up the usual cosmetic skins for various things in the game for us to use. Some right out of the gate and others down the line as they slowly trickle out there. The bigger portion, though, will be two new story expansions that will come to the game in the Summer and Fall of 2024. There is not a specific release date for any of that as of yet, but both look to not only expand the story but also the world of Avatar with new landscapes and enemies for us to face off with. One of them looking to be a massive world-ending kind of threat. Not that we have not had to deal with any of those in the world that this all takes place in. Have a look and get a little look at what you can have if you so choose to spend a little extra on the Season Pass or one of the editions that offers up the Season Pass in the mix.

When it comes to Season Pass content, as many of you feel out there, it always feels a little shady when they are fully announced before the game’s full launch. Not in the way that Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora will have one, but that there has already been a lot of work placed into it that there is a tentative release for it already. This usually feels like it is something that might have just been best to fit into the core game instead of charging more for it down the line. It is a business practice that will never go away unless we stop paying into it all. On the positive side, though, it does show that they do have enough faith in Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora that they want to keep working harder on the game post-launch than just doing quality-of-life updates. Not the best of balances, but it is still something to take note of and be glad to see out there. Time will tell if it will all be worth it, though.

How do you feel about Season Passes and the one we have here for Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora? Do you think it will add in enough content to make it feel like we needed them to be separate or will they just be a few more hours of content and nothing more? Would you have rather waited until the end of next year to get the full game or do you like getting them slowly fed to you over time and for an increased cost? Tell us all down in the comments and then discuss it all as you so wish to do. When we have more to share for Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora, it will be up on the site. Please keep on checking in for all of that and much more as we head toward all of the video game launches out there.
