We haven’t even finished off season two of The Walking Dead from Telltale and now we have season three on the way. It has been confirmed during the panel at SDCC where the game was mentioned and then confirmed from Robert Kirkman and the president of Telltale games, Kevin Bruner. Also for those who were not able to make the panel nor watch it online it was later announced via Telltale’s twitter account for all to bare witness to. Amazing news indeed!
Just in case you are a neighsayer that The Walking Dead is getting a season three here is said tweet to verify.

So there. You can suck it neighsayers. The Walking Dead is getting a season three. We just need to wait to see how all of the current events from season two pans out to be sure who we can expect or hope to expect to carry on the story for the game.
Episode four for season two of The Walking Dead just released before the huge announcement was made so there is still a bit of time for Telltale to set up the horrible stuff just as they did with season one. Will Clementine make it through? Most likely as she has become one of the most popular characters in the franchise even though she was a sub-character in the beginning that made it to a full character and protagonist. I guess we’ll see if she gets the treatment Lee had in the end or not.
As always, we’ll update as we get further details about The Walking Dead season three from Telltale games.
