Learn More About How Combat Will Flow In Star Trek Voyager: Across The Unknown

Dive deeper into the combat of Star Trek Voyager: Across The Unknown and see just how we will be commanding everything in this #StarTrek title

The captain is on deck, as we take a look at the combat that we are going to have to master in #StarTrekVoyager: #AcrossTheUnknown. Okay, that’s a little off since we will be playing as the captain in the game, but we have gameXcite behind the controls of this new look, so we’re not the captain in this instance. Not to mention, this is just a fun way to give us more on how we will be bringing this version of Star Trek Voyager to life, but also a way for Daedalic Entertainment to keep us reminded that it is coming to the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC on February 18th. Oh, and it looks like it has been confirmed for the #Switch2 now. So, we’d better get ready to dive into the meat of the combat so we’re ready for it all. Let’s do just that.

Styx: Blades Of Greed Offers Up A Taste Of Greed With A Demo

Styx: Blades Of Greed Offers Up A Taste Of Greed With A Demo

Take Styx for a quick run before you offer up your coin to pre-order #Styx: Blades Of Greed

With Styx: #BladesOfGreed hitting the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC on February 19th, time is getting close to pre-order this bad boy. Not that there is much of a reason to pre-order digital games in the modern age, but it will help out Cyanide Studios to keep the lights on a bit longer as we wait for the game to launch. I know, a month is a long time for many gamers who have been waiting to join Styx on one more adventure in the world. That is where the other fun news comes into play here, as that wait can be made a bit easier with a new demo that has dropped out there for us all to enjoy. That might get us to send our money a bit earlier than we might have been planning, for sure.

The prototype phase for Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 is coming to an end for the #PC, as we now have a release date set for the next chapter. Not just the game in its prototype phase, but also the fact that Mob Entertainment is gearing up to show us The Prototype in the game when it does come to us all. Granter, we all are expected to have been following along with all of the chapters for Poppy Playtime up to now. There’s still time, though, if you need to catch up, since this new chapter will be dropping on the PC this February 18th. The PS4, #PS5, Xbox One, #XboxSeriesX|S, Switch, and #Switch2 gamers will have a few more months to get up to speed, with that release planned further down the line. This Week In Video Games 1/5/26 — 1/9/26

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week

The world of video games never ceases to amaze me out there, as this week was a lot more packed than expected for a #CES week. Not only did we get a lot to check out during the convention, but we also managed to get solid updates out to you all week. Some, like, #Styx: Blades Of Greed gameplay, #DeadByDaylight and #StrangerThings kicking off the crossover, #RERequiem getting some fun new visuals, and the fact that we will be able to play Xbox video games without the need of an Xbox soon. Yeah, that one is a bit of a wild ride to think about, and we have all of that here on the site for you.

Cakey’s Twisted Bakery Is Opening Up On The PlayStation Now

Cakey’s Twisted Bakery Is Opening Up On The PlayStation Now

Get ready to head into the Twisted Bakery on the PlayStation, with the new console release for #CakeysTwistedBakery

The stealth-based horror on the PS4 and #PS5 is getting another title in the mix today, January 8th, with Cakey’s Twisted Bakery finally launching on these consoles. Fresh off the releases, where TinyMindz got the game on the Xbox One and #XboxSeriesX|S after a while on the #PC. A fun little staggering of the game’s release, but that’s okay. Given that Cakey’s Twisted Bakery is on the indie side of it all, it makes sense that we have a staggering like this. Not to mention that it has to compete with many other horror games like it that have been released. All of that to say, if you need a new horror title to play on the PlayStation, you have one to drop onto your system now.

Romeo Is A Dead Man Offers Up A New Story Recap Before The Ultra-Violence

Romeo Is A Dead Man Offers Up A New Story Recap Before The Ultra-Violence

The story for Romeo Is A Dead Man is on display once more just ahead of the official release for #RomeoIsADeadMan

Nothing says Ultra-Violence and Sci-Fi like February and the pending release for #RiaDM, maybe not specifically the game, but that is still when Grasshopper Manufacture is looking to drop it on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. February 11th to give you a specific release date, but that is not truly new information here. Any who have been following along with Romeo Is A Dead Man should have known that by now. What they might not be fully up on is the story leading to the events of the game. I’m sure this will be dropped in the game during the opening, but why not get a small taste of it all now so we can make sure we are fully ready for this release. That said, let’s dig into the story bits we have to share.

Every Crash Will Make You Stronger In Carmageddon: Rogue Shift

Every Crash Will Make You Stronger In Carmageddon: Rogue Shift

Carmageddon is coming back to us and we have a new look at the upcoming #Carmageddon: Rogue Shift to take a ride with

Get those engines revving once more, with Carmageddon: #RogueShift driving out to us on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, #Switch2, and #PC. Not as of yet, but in a way to keep this IP going with 34BigThings behind the wheel for this new spin-off of vehicular combat. This is an IP that spawned so many fun titles like it, and has had some remasters out. Now, we are getting a version of it all that is going to add a roguelike element into the mix when it does drive into our lives in the future. Along with that, we are also getting some truly next-gen levels when it comes to the visuals, physics, and design of everything else. Just what many have been dying to see hit the streets for quite some time now. Especially since we are only getting TV shows of the other big titles in the genre, when we also want a new game.
